Cocoa Beach Pier

Besides being an ideal place to surf, the Pier and all the surrounding restaurants and shopping make Cocoa Beach an ideal beach town. The Ron Jon Surf Shop, the largest surf shop is open 24 hours to cater to the beach lifestyle. Other activities to avail of include stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking and Segway tours.


Brevard Zoo

The award-winning zoo features open-air habitats for its 900 + animals. For a more rewarding experience, one can take a guided kayak tour around an animal exhibit, train rides, animal feeding or see the zoo from above on the aerial adventure course, Treetop Trek.


Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex

A visit here is a must for an out-of-this-world experience. Visitors can experience everything from thrilling simulators to breathtaking artifacts, interactive exhibits, and opportunities to meet real astronauts. See the mighty Saturn V Moon rocket at the Apollo/Saturn V Center, stand nose-to-nose with space shuttle Atlantis, and experience what it feels like to launch in Shuttle Launch Experience. Advance reservations recommended. 


Canaveral National Seashore

The barrier island shelters many endangered animals like the West Indian Manatee, loggerhead, green, and leatherback sea turtles, and more, with numerous plant species and a variety of birds. Recreational activities like fishing, swimming, sunbathing, canoeing, surfing, boating, camping, and trails are available all year round.


Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge

Home to many endangered species, the conservation park hosts more than 500 species of wildlife. It is also popular for birdwatching and saltwater angling.  Visitors can spot wildlife along the Black Point Wildlife Drive, a 7-mile auto tour through the Refuge and at the Manatee Observation.


Port Canaveral Cruise

Popular cruise lines like MSC Cruises, Carnival, Disney, Norwegian, and Royal Caribbean offer cruises to Bahamas, Caribbean, and the Panama Canal. The port has a lot of activities and waterside dining options available before and after embarking on the trip. So, one can spend more time at the port before or after their cruise.
